...I started skating when I was 7, so I skated for 4 years. I have always wanted to learn how to do jumps and spins and to also reach my goal by moving up little by little. All of you skaters out there, that you want to try skating go for it, and if you really want to start doing doubles, triples, quads you got to be really good and if you want to make it to the World Championships someday you got to have a lot of confidence and you have to believe in yourself, never give up. I think you guys and girls will like our coaches.

...I am eight years old and live in Schofield, WI.

When I was six -- I told my mom that I would like to ice skate. She told me she didn't think it was such a great idea, and maybe in a few years. I kept pestering her, and after six months of begging, she FINALLY gave in. She told me if I was going to learn how to skate, she would only take me to Gizo

and Elena. Elena was my first teacher and I love her very much. She taught me how to "swizzle" my favorite and then after I could waltz jump -- I only wanted to skate more. Now I skate 4 times a week and spin on Sunday. I also take ballet class with my Grandmother and play the piano.

I am so glad my mom and dad took me to skating lessons. Its hard work and fun -- I really love it.
