10 Golden rules for Skating
1. Always listen your coach, it is good to know he wants the best for you, because you both are paddling the same boat.
2. Discipline and self-control is a best way to success.
3. Accomplishing something "unbelievable" is not about someone else, it is about you, but first you need to start to believe
4. Practice like it is your first practice, compete like it is your last competition, give everything you can give every single second, every single minute, approach your personal limits and go a little step over.
5. If you have a bad day, still try to make a best of it.
6. Practice until your qualities are good enough to compete even than, when you have a worst day in your life
7. Never undervalue your competitor, never overvalue your abilities
8. Talent pays out only with hard work
9. Technique means: finding the best possible way for you, but  doing things according standards.
10.Never give up! When you loose competition, do not loose a lesson

Elite Athletes Development
according to Bloom:
  • the early years, when the individual develops a love of sport, participates for fun, is free to explore and receives encouragement
  • the middle or precision years, when with the help of a master coach, the athlete works on long term skill development, and
  • the elite years, marked by many hours of practice and the honing of technical skill and expertise into personal excellence.
"If a fear of losing dominates an athlete's thinking, he will experience a lot of stress and disappointment. But if he measures success by the scale of 'am I getting better?' he'll see self - improvement, he'll be happier and will persist longer." Robert Singer, PhD University of Miami
